We went to Apple Hill last weekend. It's this place up in the hills, where they grow apples....maybe that's where they get the name from??? Anyways, we go at least once every year and the kids' favorite part of our trip is fishing in the trout pond. They stock it, like once a week, so you will pretty much always catch something. It's fun, even though the fish is wayyyy overpriced! $8.50 a pound this year. This will make me sound really old, but I can remember when it was like $4.75 a pound!!! I have been going there since I was little. Our dad used to love taking us fishing and they used to have a helicopter ride that you could see all the groves and everything, that was fun.
This year, we went with my sister and her family, and her sister in law and their family and also with Uncle Peter and Auntie Jane. The top picture is our kids (minus Kealana) with their cousins and their cousins' cousins! It was a lot of fun. The kids wanted to fish right away so that's what we did.

And finally.....got one.
Mataias caught a catfish, so lucky for us...you are allowed to release catfish back into the water and not have to pay for them. Erianna caught a trout, so Grandma cooked it the next day and her and the kids ate it. I heard it was yummy! Daddy got to do all the dirty work.
When we were done fishing, we saw some aliens in the trees, so the kids wanted to take pictures with them!

And then they wanted to ride ponies. We weren't sure how Isa and Kealana would do on the ponies, but they were so good, it's like a 5 minute ride of just going around in a circle and they loved it!!! Isa still talks about it every day, how big the horsey was and everything!
It was so fun, I think we are going to go again next month!

Awww, how cute. Kealana looks like such a big girl! That place is fun. Especially fishing...we caught one when we went and I almost had a heart attack when I heard how much it was. Cute pictures!
