Wow, we have been married for eight years!!! It actually seems like we've always been together and there was never a time before we knew each other. I know, it sounds a little cheesy, but it's true.
This year, our anniversary plan was just a simple one.....spend the day together. We were planning to go to SunSplash because of course it should be HOTT, it's June, right? WRONG!!!!! So, when we woke up on our anniversary day and it was pretty chilly out, we decided to go to Six Flags instead. It was so weird to be there with no kids. We actually felt a little guilty. We only went on the big rides and did things that the kids wouldn't be able to do, and also....no shows. That way they wouldn't be missing out on much. (It made us a feel a little better). It was so fun. The lines were pretty short and the weather was not too hot, not too cold. We had a great time! Thanks again to Grama and Auntie for watching the kids so we could go have a fun day!
8 years down.......eternity to go.........can't wait!

You two are so great together. Thanx for being such a wonderful example of true love & dedication for one another. I remember you told me that the two of you "even eachother out." That's the way it should be!!! We can't be perfect on our own......that's why we need a loving Savior and the help of a patient eternal companion.
Congrats! 8 yrs. is quite an accomplishment.
How fun going without the kiddos- but I know what you mean, I would feel a little guilty too without the kids. Congratulation on 8 years - time flies doesn't it?
